That headline isn’t quite accurate: it’s not the blog but the website that’s worth looking into  and, of course, the book that it promotes.  It’s not quite “CSI Belle Epoque” but Douglass Starr’s book does l0ok into the history of science to solve crimes and the eternal question of why people commit evil acts. The website for his well-written historic nonfiction book:

The Killer of Little Shepherds.

includes an excerpt of the book,  trailer, author interview, and plenty of other information.  Well worth checking out!
