There’s nothing like messing around to develop an intuition about how a science experiment will turn out. And (more or less) directed messing around is exactly what home science experiments are about.

Oddly enough, the Science made alive website doesn’t cover biology. But it does have some spiffy physics and chemistry experiments. Here’s the list of physics experiments, but please go look at the entire site:
