Here’s a sonic superpower! Physical Review Focus has a video and explanation of how one can Squirt Water without a Gun. I’m including this string of images because it’s just so cool.

Possible real world uses include inkjet printers and microfluidics.

I’ve written some articles on micro-optofluidics (using light to move liquids or particles in liquids, or using liquids to manipulate light) and it’s very cool work. We’re learnng hydraulic engineering on a whole new scale.
